Mike began his career in Construction in 1979 after graduating from the Carpentry Program at Rochester Vocational Technical College. Mike went on to work for local builders in Residential Construction, building single and multi-family homes. In 1982 Mike joined Bigelow & Lennon Construction and as a foreman helped with the construction of hundreds of homes for Bigelow Enterprises, Inc.
After 10 years as a Master Carpenter, Mike moved into the office with a role in Job Supervision and Sales. Mike is now the President of Bigelow Enterprises, Inc. one of the largest Builders and Land Developers in all of Southern Minnesota.
Mike is an active member and sits on the board of Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and is also the current President of The Rochester Area Builders, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Olmsted National Bank. Mike sat on an advisory committee for the State of Minnesota that was formed to draft the upcoming Minnesota Energy Code.
Mike has been married to Diane for 19 years and they have 4 children, ranging from grade school to high school. They own a home on the edge of Rochester and their children attend Byron School District. When Mike is not attending one of his children’s sporting events he can be found Woodworking, Gardening, Hunting, or Golfing.
As the Vice President of Bigelow Homes, Jeremy’s day-to-day activities include Sales, Marketing, Job Supervision, and Estimating. He has a BS degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, as well as a degree in Broad Area Business Administration.
Jeremy is married to his wonderful wife Tara. Together they have three children, Madison, Abigail, and Jace, and several family pets. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys his church, playing ball with his kids, softball, golf, and family vacations.
Tony’s career at Bigelow Homes started in January 2001 after studying organizational development and Spanish at the University of Minnesota and working for a building materials wholesaler. His role with Bigelow consists of developing land through the public and private processes to transform bare land into residential or commercial subdivisions.
Tony is married to his wife Jennifer, and together they have two adult children, Logan and Ashlyn. Tony enjoys traveling, sports, attending concerts, and spending time with his family and friends.
Matt has been with Bigelow Homes since 1999 and is currently a Vice President of the company. After graduating from Plainview High School in 1995, Matt went onto college at Minnesota State University – Mankato, graduating with a BS degree in Construction Management in 1999.
Matt is an active member of the Rochester Area Builders Association – Showcase Committee. He is married to Jennifer and has two kids, Marshall and Madilyn. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his family in his free time, and is a fan of the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings.
Angie began working for Bigelow Homes in 1995 and holds many positions, some of which include Office Manager, Accountant, and Treasurer. After graduating from Plainview High School, Angie received her 2-year Associate Degree from RCTC.
Angie is married to Tim. Together they have three adult children, Kaitlyn, Jenna and Andrew. Tim and Angie recently became grandparents and are thrilled with the new title. Angie enjoys traveling, attending Minnesota Twins games and spending time with family and friends.
Jon has been with Bigelow Homes for close to 10 years. As a member of the Service Department, he assists clients with service repairs. Jon grew up in Byron, MN and currently lives on a hobby farm in Kasson, MN along with his wife, Erin. His interests include Farming (raising crops, goats and cattle), showing livestock, snowmobiling, hunting and spending time with his wife.
Jordyn is the self-proclaimed “Office Comedian” of the workplace. She also boasts a Toddler-Wrangling Champion belt and has been awarded Wife of the Year from 2016-Present. She initially came to work at Bigelow for a steady, secure job, and has since stayed at the company to contribute to the passion of building quality homes for her fellow Minnesotans.
A Kasson-Mantorville resident for life, Chad takes pride knowing his job is to help homeowners take advantage of everything the Kasson-area has to offer. A family man who’s settled down with his wife and two daughters, Chad likes to kick back and spend quality time with the family when he’s not helping out around the office. If you catch him on the right day or time of year, you just might spot him going full throttle on the hockey rink or admiring his shot on the golf course!
As a a life-long resident of Rochester, Cheryl graduated from the local schools and went on to get a college degree at Winona State University. Prior to joining the Bigelow Team, she worked in the Architectural / Engineering field for almost two decades. Having now made her current career path with Bigelow Homes, Cheryl truly enjoys the excitement and challenges that comes with the residential construction. She also makes a great cup of Keurig coffee, so stop by to say hello and she'll make you one.
