How the Reimbursement Works
There is no income restriction for the buyer of this program.
Bigelow Homes will offer the buyer the credit as a documented price reduction, or the funds can be used to pay the buyer’s closing costs or interest-rate buy-downs.
After closing, Bigelow Homes will submit all the required documentation to the City of Rochester, which will reimburse Bigelow Homes.
The Following Conditions Apply
- The selling price of the home is at or below $350,000.00.
- The home will be restricted from obtaining a rental license with the City of Rochester for two years.
- Proof that the price of the home is lowered or the amount benefits the new owners.
